I do get it. It’s a nice life to take overtime to stand around vs going into these terrible crime ridden areas, and the risk associated with active enforcement but there was a time when this was a vocation not just a job. 😥

I don’t know how she can say this. Canadians do not have “property rights.” Individual property rights could have been put in the Charter, but they were not. In fact, the ONLY property rights recognized in the Charter are First Nations treaty rights.

“Tell me more”… is a great phrase that a reasonable Canadian should be happy to direct towards all politicians and bureaucrats of any stripe. I’ve been discouraged with the personality cult developing around Carney, of all people! 😳

I just threw this together now. Carney keeps having all these dumb "meetings with the premiers" in which he says the exact same thing every time. And yet somehow he still needs to keep having the same meeting EVEN MORE, followed by the exact same talking points, forever.

Politics matters. The Prime Minister and the modern Liberal Party believe we must keep our oil in the ground (to save the world) out of some strange sense of ideological purity.
