To paraphrase another tweet I saw on here today, β€œYes, you have the right to be involved in your child’s reading choices. But you don’t have the right to be involved in MY child’s reading choices.”

I don’t say this like, ever. But this might be the best article Steve Simmons has ever wrote. Also he makes a great point. If safety was an issue here in Toronto around sports, Steve, would know. That dude has pissed off kore Leaf fans than Marner ever could.

If they left it at the original Dreger "scoop" the story would have seemed believable enough to be accepted Instead Marner & Ferris go on a media tour beefing up the lie until things didnt add up and now the whole thing is exposed for the hoax that it is Hilarious own goal

Interesting take, Rona. I don't remember any Liberal politicians blaming Brian Mulroney for Paul Bernardo's crimes, or the Polytechnique massacre. I guess you're a terrible person and are exploiting this family's tragedy for cheap pts. You preparing a leadership bid or something?

If anything To Kill a Mockingbird is a more sanitary version of the history of racism in the South, the actual history is the stuff of utter nightmares

This is the exact type of radicalization that causes things like this to happen in the first place If you don't think there are right wing people who are capable of horrific acts then you are deluding yourself

Well would you look at that... violent crime has progressively decreased even though the political parties in power have changed hands multiple times Why do people feel like violent crime is worse now? Because crimes that used to be local news that you never heard about are not
