The ninth hole at Ganton has been designed in partnership with Golf Course Architect, Martin Ebert. A newly exposed natural sand waste area must be cleared to reach the fairway, which has been contoured to give the player a clear site of the hole from an elevated tee.

On a recent butterfly survey at Ganton. 11 different species were identified by our ecologist. Areas of Acid grassland throughout the course provided the highest abundance of butterflies.
