Power outage in southern Stockholm. Sweden is dark this time of year, but pitch black at 4:50 with no traffic lights is no way to treat a newcomer to the city!

Today Sweden elected its first female Prime Minister, the 22nd EU country (of 27) and last Nordic nation to elevate a woman to serve as head of government or state. By day's end she had resigned. I know this is how parliamentary democracy works, but Oy Vey! Really, Sweden?
