men and dads, teaching our sons to be honest and open with what they’re experiencing inside is rare air. most of us had to learn from a therapist or counselor. and even then, later in life… in my case, later in life. and I’m STILL learning how to be honest with God, myself

their lack still haunts me today… I’ve spent much of my life trying to find the answer to the desperate question “do I have what it takes?” frankly, looking inside, I often found my own heart answering “no”… fear, failure, cope, repeat. but it’s starting to change.
