As I continue to find, people don't like questions. They don't want to confront their own thinking and where it leads them wrong. They deny and avoid where possible. They rather take comfort in others easy solutions to life. But their own lesser thinking continues on..

We often reach points in our life when we think, 'What now?', and we need a new philosophy. And then we rethink and form new ways so we can live and grow once more. Be prepared for such times. They are natural and healthy.

We live in an era of Micro-Distractions. If you can sit in a room and do one boring task for 4 hours without checking your phone, you have a literal superpower.

Any day you have a positive vision for yourself and your future and who you can become is a good day. If you can string these days together, one after the other, your future will start becoming a lot nearer. See that higher horizon and move towards it. Imagine. Believe. Create.

'Wisdom is welcome, wherever it comes from'. Words from the Ancient Norse Bandamanna Saga. An accurate truth. Wisdom can come from the most unusual sources and from the most unexpected people. So we must pay attention because any day anyone at all could advise us very wisely.

Daily Question. Most people are used to fear, used to worry. Therefore it is not this that stops them succeeding. It is the fear of success itself. Are you honestly scared to be successful and why? What would you lose or what would be taken from you?

I love philosophy. In fact, it is a life saver. Over the last 15 years when I lost everything I had worked for, philosophy gave me perspective and comfort. It supports my mental confidence and self awareness. Philosophy is a healthy thing to have in life. It's a survival tool.

We are living the beliefs we have inside us. Some have held us back. Some have been with us too long. Do you know what yours are? The ones that just aren't true?!

5th Century Greek philosopher Heraclitus observed, 'The sun is new each day'. This sounds basic, obvious even. But it's stunning. Deep and powerful wisdom occurs in the incredibly simple. Accept such truths and life can be shifted beyond measure. Simple observation = revelation.
