The cotton gloves came along with me for this trip! 19 hours after leaving Alabama for England, I now have the Tom Morris feathery ball in my possession! 🤩 And I’m already back at Heathrow Airport about to fly back home. Thanks for those that followed along on this journey

Ever wondered why PING putters are called PING? When Karsten Solheim began making putters in his garage in the 1950s, he produced this “No Model” putter. The PING brand wouldn't be formed for several years, but this sound started it all 🔊 (via Golden Age)

32 hours after leaving Alabama (20 by plane. 4.5 by car.)… 8,804 miles traveled. …I am finally walking in the front door of my house again! Beyond thrilled it went smoothly, that I got the ball safe & secure, & that I’m home. Next stop: Scotland in 72 hours. Wait. What? 😬

The feathery is comfortable in its new home sitting atop some sand from the West Sands Beach in St. Andrews… And sitting on my Tom Morris shelf in my office alongside: - A signed Tom Morris glass photo - A Tom Morris rookie card - My copy of Roger McStravick’s book #GolfHistory
