Josh Fruhlinger mistress of the deep ones 🏳️‍🌈🐙 Andrew A. Gill The Keystone Take @ThomasJTobin1 My understanding was that if you join an adult baptism church after being baptized as an infant, you go through the whole baptism process regardless. Is that wrong?

John  Josh Fruhlinger mistress of the deep ones 🏳️‍🌈🐙 The Keystone Take @ThomasJTobin1 I think it depends on the adult baptism sect, but my understanding is you usually get rebaptised.

More interesting is that baptism is accepted across sects if the words are the same BUT not for LDS as the words are the same but they mean different things

Josh Fruhlinger mistress of the deep ones 🏳️‍🌈🐙 Andrew A. Gill The Keystone Take @ThomasJTobin1 Well, there's some other weird ones like Christian Science and Quakerism. Nature of the Trinity is a big stumbling block - Mormons, Christian Scientists, and Quakers are all basically non-trinitarian.
