In case anyone is wondering how reconciliation is going: an Indigenous woman died in Burnside jail this week from pneumonia at 27 YEARS OLD. To say we at Elizabeth Fry Society of Mainland Nova Scotia are devastated and furious is a gross understatement. We are sending so much love to this woman's family.
