Well worth reading in full: "When Journalism Dies" by Sebastian Junger nationalreview.com/magazine/2024/…
Great to see that this well-researched deep-dive into Kent's oversubscribed schools and their admissions policies is today's most-read story on KentOnline. Brilliantly put together by James Pallant. kentonline.co.uk/kent/news/the-…
We are just over a month into launching paywalls across all Iliffe Media websites. Here's what we have learned so far. iancarterblog.wordpress.com/2024/11/06/a-n…
Great to see KentOnline, Max Chesson and Millie Bowles shortlisted for the RegionalPressAwards. All well deserved. theregionalpressawards.com/shortlist
A murderous Colombian drug cartel, a failed asylum bid and the terror of a family holed up in a budget Kent hotel. Great exclusive by Gerry Warren. kentonline.co.uk/ashford/news/w…
A cracking KentOnline exclusive here from Brad Harper after lots of legwork and tenacity, including two trips down to Brighton. Pleased to see the case will now be taken up with the Attorney General. Journalism worth paying for. kentonline.co.uk/medway/news/po…
A shocking case. As ever, excellent court reporting by Julia Roberts , with great work by Millie Bowles too and Sean Axtell putting it all together on the newsdesk
More tenacious work here from KentOnline reporter Brad Harper.
Disappointing to see The Sun ripping off a court case which only KentOnline sent a reporter to. It makes a mockery of the industry arguing via the News Media Association for copyright protection and fair recompense from social platforms when the nationals act like this.
I spoke today on the cross-party KentOnline Blue Badge Campaign which is securing support of Kent MPs including Mike Martin MP 🔸 Helen Grant OBE MP Please do write to your local Kent MP x.com/Kent_Online/st…
If you haven't seen many KentOnline stories on Facebook lately, this is the reason. Thanks to Press Gazette for helping us resolve the issue but serious questions remain for Meta about how it intends to avoid others falling into the same trap. pressgazette.co.uk/news/facebook-…
