1/ It was my pleasure to serve several years with Christina on the Iowa Law School Foundation board of trustees. She is smart, dedicated and articulate. I trust her to cross the aisle to actually get some bipartisan things done in DC.

2/Her opponent has to kowtow to party leaders who kowtow to a felon who not only fails to respect women, he actually sexually assaults them and brags about it. Vote for Bohannan for your daughters’ and granddaughters’ sake!

I flew to WDC 15 years in a row as an ACS volunteer lobbying for more cancer research funding and for the ACA to be passed. It has been a godsend to my family and to cancer patients. Trump’s “concept of a plan” is to revoke it. Watch this and vote accordingly!

Ronald Reagan was the other president who converted from D to R, but he continued to recognize the value of welcoming other cultures in our communities.

Reminds me of the Obama days in the White House, where the first couple obviously loved one another (and both were lawyers, too), with no scandals, no infidelity, no disdain for one another, and no felonies.

This restores my faith in Iowa newspapers to have the editorial staff publish endorsements.

Women over 65 remember what it was like before Roe v. Wade became the law of the land. That's why they are voting for Kamala.

I was a Republican and remember when the party left me, when it stood for less government intervention, more local control. Many Republicans realize their party got hijacked, and the only way to get it back is to reject its current leader, his family and cult.

My usual regret is having studied Latin and German instead of Spanish, but today I wish it had been French!

As a foreign service officer, a Congressman, and citizen, Jim Leach put country above party time and again. He was a dedicated public servant, and we were lucky to have him as part of my administration. Thinking of Jim’s family and friends today.
