Pay close attention so you understand current realities, then say “fuck it” & get your ass back to work.

You need to be ready as opportunities still arise, even now.

Stop talking about it ad nauseam and get it done. Diligently work on your craft and be sure to develop a thick skin. The best #writers have been rejected. Never give up.

When I get to the point of wanting a new life as much as I want my old life back, I’ll consider it a new step ascended.

The process can never be rushed but the scales tip a bit day to day.

Regardless, beautiful memories will always — in large part — sustain me.

In my gut, I believe there is some fetishizing of the “starving artist” trope.

The danger, of course, is to subconsciously ingrain that status as permanent, a trap too many get used to due to ongoing rejection.

It’s cliché but always remember it only takes one “yes.”

My choice is simple. Pick on them if you choose as far-fetched B-movie nonsense, but to me they took a legit shot w/social commentary…

I’m not the only person here who has loved and been loved. I am also not the only person here who has suffered loss.

I’m asked for relationship advice as if I’m an expert. I’m not. Emphatically.

I had a near-24-year romance with my true love because we were both real with each other. We were perfect for one another based on our mutual imperfections.

The only advice I can give is to be real.

Incidentally, if the film for which I currently have a finance deal is made, it will be the culmination of a 14-year odyssey for this particular project.

Again, though, #writers understand u need to keep moving forward as everything about the business, esp now, is unpredictable.

There’s a deal in place for a film; talent offers are ongoing. A studio deal to EP a TV project, meantime, will soon expire.

#Writers & #producers , when it happens, though, is when it’s real.

I’m moving forward professionally now, regardless; I have an angel on my shoulder.

#Writers , I miss any good news lately?

I got lost for a few days for two main reasons: I was becoming increasingly angry, which is unlike me, and I was spending too much time on social media at the expense of interacting in real life.

Grief is a beast that requires readjustment.

It’s about rediscovering balance.

Emerging from my cave…

So laugh if you want, but “Melrose Place” was my main TV addiction in the 1990s. I was obsessed.

Now, following one failed reboot comes another attempt to bring back the magic. Can we just let sleeping classics lie for a change?
