Education spending is not the issue in Washington State. The first paragraph of HB 2081 that passed the house in the dark of night last night still claims it is. To fix our education system, we need to: Stop giving misbehaving kids a bag of chips and a half hour of YouTube.

How’s the administration doing… RFK announced we’re banning food additives. We’re starting to collect student loans again. The market is trending up. The world is dropping tariffs. There’s a lot more to do and Congress has done nothing, but we’re doing ok.

We all know when rent control doesn’t work, they’ll just throw billions of dollars at building “affordable housing”.

I think a lot of landlords in Washington state are either thinking of selling or they are setting their rent increases to the maximum allowable rent increase for the foreseeable future. None of that helps our housing problem.
