When work is thin on the ground, we can all be tempted to drop our guard a little, so here is a quick reminder of basic #auditionsafety.

#Directors how did you get started and make connections? 😁 I've been looking into assistant-directing and shadowing but have had no luck thus far!

Long stretches without auditions are rarely a reflection on your talent or work ethic. This is a highly competitive industry, where the playing field is far from even & final selections often made for a wide variety of reasons many of which are not performing ability related.
