Penn State’s five-set comeback victory over Nebraska means the NCAA women’s volleyball tournament will be won for the first time by a female coach, either Penn State’s Katie Anne Schumacher-Cawley or Louisville’s Dani Busboom Kelly.

ESPN reports Penn State-Nebraska NCAA volleyball semifinal was watched by record 1.2 million viewers; Louisville-Pitt by 1 million. Both matches peaked at 1.4 million according to the network.

I have called bowl games, basketball final fours, and the like. I’ve never been as nervous as I was watching that incredible volleyball second set.

From this experience I will NEVER cruise NCL again.  When I booked the cruise the rep Said I would get flights at 75 days out. I am traveling with a group of 17 who have booked the cruise for a family members birthday. Some used NCL to book and some used a travel agent.

It’ll be Louisville and Miami in an NCAA Super Regional at Jim Patterson Stadium this weekend.
