Today marks the 80th Anniversary for D-Day. Thorne & Moorends Town Council and volunteers have organised lots of activities from the proclamation, service at the cenotaph, fish n& chip dinner and the lighting of the beacon tonight. We will remember them! 🌹

Wonderful morning followed by our fish & chips lunch for over 100 residents. Fantastic to see Thorne Moorends Town Council, Cllrs & volunteers organising and running these events. Well done!
