Disabled is not a bad word. When you tell people, they are not disabled and treat them like everyone else, it means, not providing accommodations for their disabilities. Lack of accommodations removes independence. Ramps, closed captioning, flashing doorbells, enable independence

This is what Jesus intended for us all.
