With the help of a local teacher and Knowledge Keeper, Audrey Rockthunder, and Shane Smith, some of our Indigenous students participated in a ribbon skirt making workshop. With the help of their mothers/kokums, four girls spent the day sewing their very own ribbon skirts

Our school is very lucky to have Mr. Hamilton out, helping us learn to tan a deer hide! Students have fleshed, scraped, and stretched the hide to prepare it for the tanning process! YQR Catholic Schools
