The decision for Point Loma to end their varsity season was in no way a players decision. And we as a team didn’t have any say in the matter, there was 1 official injury Friday night and I can assure that we are more then ready to play Friday night if we were given the chance

I feel bad for my guy Joaquin. He has worked his butt off all year preparing for this opportunity. It’s just sad‼️

Corona took my season away and I couldn’t do anything about it but I’m not letting it get away from me this time without fighting for it. My teammates and I all have worked too hard to not have the chance to play again whether we win or lose... LET US PLAY

I don’t know the whole situation but after what these seniors went through I can’t believe you pull the plug on them like that. I had the plug pulled on me my senior year. I’d play with 11 guys and lose by 100 if it meant to play the game one more time.

Los Locos Braden Surprenant EC Preps I personally know Hastings would be against this, he didn’t let us back down from any team and we took on whoever... playing cathedral my sophomore year we had 7 starters missing & not once did he make any excuses or discourage us. He made it happen regardless.

Our Seniors losing their season is bigger than football, it’s bigger than Point Loma, and it’s bigger than the Class of 2021. So little has been done to ensure that the Class of 2021 isn’t in a deficit because of COVID. Time after time SDUSD, admin, and CIF has failed us. 1/

That’s not right...players are the ones ON the field...they most certainly should have been considered!!
