We loved #WorldBookDay today at Queen Elizabeth School, Kirkby Lonsdale. The reading 'drop ins' to lessons were fantastic... still puzzled by the shelfies though! Our new display encouraging reading in History went up this week too, with lots of recommendations in QES English & Library

A delicious Easter Sunday Roast Dinner with JDL and his super family. Such dear friends.. Thank you for such a delightful 3 hours. My longest socialising this side of my medical mayhem, so a big positive! Not least, thank you John for driving me to and from from Morecambe.

A Curry Night catch up at City of Lancaster Lodge 281. In the Sultan Restaurant. Good humour, great conversation, intelligent civilised discussion. Our Uni Scheme students and a potential candidate, all really enjoyed it. West Lancashire Freemasons Universities Scheme

Posh Italian Ice Creams, and drinks afterwards at Nuvo in the warm sunshine. A delightful couple of hours with the Lee Family in Poulton le Fylde. A classy catch up indeed. My lovely young pals Joey and Harvey, seemed very content indeed! 👍😉

Have just visited dear friends and their lovely daughter, near Evesham, for a few days. This included enjoyable, civilised visits to Worcester Cathedral, Batsford Arboretum, and Chipping Campden. But I especially enjoyed a Cotswold Cream Tea in delightful Stow-on-the-Wold!!

A lovely meet up in Poulton for posh Italian ices at the New Penny plus drinks at Nuvo, with JDL, Kathryn, Joey and Harvey. A very warm afternoon around 26c. Just like being in Italy!
