Now out in Science Advances! This project was a major focus of mine while in the Wiedenheft Lab and I was so lucky to be a part of the team led by Artem Nemudryi, PhD and Anna Nemudraia. Our hope is that this tech will accelerate discovery in RNA virology, vaccines, and gene therapies.

I’m excited to share the preprint of my first first-author paper! The pandemic was a challenging time to start my PhD, but it spawned the awesome opportunity to join a second lab 800 miles west in Seattle to study ancient viruses in the human genome! 🧵👇
