Really amazing work in JAMA Psychiatry by Dr. Santiago Papini, one of our Mental Health Research Network T32 fellows.

We have an opening in our mental health services T32 post-doc fellowship for summer/fall! Would love to have applicants looking to make a large-scale impact on health care across a massive patient population. Focus on NIH grant writing and becoming an independent investigator.

How might tech-based smoking cessation work with young people exiting foster care? We were able to increase motivation to change in this pilot iPad/texting intervention, which could be a scalable approach to addressing tobacco-related health disparities. doi.org/10.1080/155487…

Applications are being accepted for our 2-year T32 fellowship in Mental Health Services Research. We have two openings for the coming year, one at Henry Ford Health and one at another MHRN site. Heavy emphasis on grant writing and becoming an independent scientist.

Really excited about this paper our team just published in SOARD Journal that describes cannabis use post-bariatric surgery and its impact on eating behaviors.

Some good recommendations on how we can begin reducing bias and improving equity in EHR-based research, particularly in the context of pragmatic trials. Was really happy to work on this with Andrew Boyd, Judith Schlaeger, PhD, CNM, LAc and others. sciencedirect.com/science/articl…
