Happy #FossilFriday! This is part of the tail of an #Edmontosaurus (#MOR007) from the Upper #Cretaceous #HellCreekFormation of #Montana. Study of this fossil revealed that show duck billed #dinosaur had a segmented frill along the top of its body.

Without the National Science Foundation, I'd be nothing. NSF funded my PhD on bird origins & later my work on dino extinction & rise of mammals. Now it's being dismantled for pure political reasons. Our country culture & economy will all suffer. Disgraceful! #WithoutNSF #SaveNSF
