Leo mchana Mhe Samia Suluhu, Rais wa Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania, amemuaga mgeni wake Mhe Filipe Nyusi, Rais wa Jamhuri ya Msumbiji, aliyekuwa nchini kwa Ziara ya Kiserikali ya siku nne. Ziara imekuwa ya mafanikio makubwa na imeimarisha undugu uliopo baina ya nchi zetu mbili.
Yesterday, I had the honour to participate in the colorful Independence Day celebrations hosted by USA Ambassador to Tanzania, H.E Ambassador Michael Battle. I conveyed the warm congratulations of H.E President Samia Suluhu and our government and people to H.E Joe Biden and American people.

Earlier today, I bade farewell to H.E Mette Nørgaard Dissing-Spandet Jesper Kammersgaard 🇩🇰, a good friend of Tanzania, after a successful tour of duty in our country. She did a fantastic job to make Tanzanian and Danish governments and people closer. We thank and wish her the best.

Today in Lusaka, I had a fruitful meeting with SADC Executive Secretary, H.E H.E. Elias M. Magosi and his team on management of Regional Counterterrorism Center in Dar and preparations for Tanzania assuming the Chair of SADC Organ on Politics, Defense and Security Cooperation in August.
I am in Accra, Ghana, for the AU Executive Council meeting which will consider important agenda for the future of our Union. Frame 3 & 4, with Foreign Ministers of Zimbabwe, Lesotho, and Burundi seeking votes for Faustine Ndugulile our candidate for Africa Regional Director of WHO.
On the sidelines of AU Executive Council in Accra, I met Foreign Ministers of DRC, RSA, Chad, Malawi, Lesotho, Egypt, Algeria, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Cape Verde, Senegal, Comoros, Sierra Leone, Botswana, South Sudan, Ethiopia to advance our relations and seek support for Faustine Ndugulile.
Hongera Faustine Ndugulile kwa ushindi ulioiletea heshima nchi yetu. Mambo manne yametubeba:- sifa na uwezo wako binafsi, sapoti kubwa ya Mhe Rais na Serikali, heshima ya Tanzania Barani Afrika na kampeni mahiri. Pongezi kwa wote walioshiriki kampeni. Tunakutakia kila la heri.
