Always enjoy State Hoops and this time of year because it’s a bit nostalgic. First as a kid, going to watching Dad Coach his teams, then going with him annually whether his team made it, then competing in it, then coaching in it, and now as a parent. Go get’em Crete! #BeGreat

Love to watch each of these kids play. We have veterans… We have rookies… All are learning from their own experiences and have the desire to improve. They do it for themselves and for each other. Next week we may have a new leader, but they will support each other regardless.

Cool moment for two best buds. Both earned it. In an extremely tough district, there were multiple times they could have faltered. Both possessed composure that comes with experience. Young guys will be back with a vengeance. If Crete Golf was a stock, I’d be buying.

Reece’s final round of State was a microcosm of entire season: Not all smooth sailing but responded to setbacks when it mattered. After tough front 9 and lone double bogey of the tourney, he finished last 6 holes in -1 to finish 6th. Extremely proud of his resilience & composure.
