New WP, expertly led by Carlos Gould. We show that well-known U-shaped temperature-mortality relationship does not hold for morbidity: ED visits show linear relationship (in CA). This is bad under future climate chg: warming reduces mortality in CA (!) but increases morbidity. 🧵
