I don't respect AI generated media. Straight up. Any capacity. It's ugly, it's malicious, it's consistently idiosyncratic and shows a lack of care and intent, making it valueless. Should never have been invented.

Has any journalist questioned the govt’s support of the war on Iran in light of the US going full throttle on the Christian Crusade rhetoric? Can someone explain to me how this is good for “social cohesion”? Asking for 1 million Australian Muslims.

If I had a nickel for every time Franz Ferdinand was involved in the precursor events of a world war, I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird it happened twice

Today we're told intelligence will be a utility to be bought on a meter while we're simultaneously shown the anti-intellectual pauperism of Doge tech bros. Good luck finding customers, Sam. The world you and your tech bros have ushered in doesn't have a demand for intelligence.

Was the bombing legal? no. but was it moral? also no. did they anticipate the Iranian response? not really. but did they at least manage their alliance relations? again no.

"Inefficiency and friction" amen. The cult of optimization is really antithetical to creativity. There's a reason the AI boosters are mostly LinkedIn clowns rather than artists or intellectuals. So much of creative work is just noodling around while you wait on a train to come.

Idk about you but when I start to read a thread or long post on here and it starts to sound like AI, that's when I immediately scroll away. Even when the subject matter is genuinely interesting

For as long as you refuse to condemn this Senator Penny Wong I don’t want to hear the words ‘international law,’ ‘strongly condemn’ or ‘grave concerns’ come out of your mouth. #auspol

The vacant base arches and blank panels, absented by victorious and triumphant sculptures and reliefs, really sets the tone for a vacuous monument to narcissism.

This man's understanding of how GenAI, driven by market forces, leads inevitably to more (self)delusion and consequent division is perfect, and his voice is such an unexpected gift in the otherwise diminishing consciousness and conscience of our world.

PLEASE SHARE! AI slop has become practically impossible to tell apart with wildlife photography and this is about to introduce SO many real life issues! 🚨🦜 ALL these images in this video are AI generated, but they look EXACTLY like the species down to the feather. 😵‍💫(1/4)

It feels like the Ultimatum Game with red pushers telling blues that they should accept $0.20 out of $10.00 because, rationally, they’re still better off and I just think this shows why rationalist assumptions in economics and game theory are bunk when they meet the real world.

A nonsense progression that still produces a golf club on the second last iteration, and the user claps like they’ve seen colour tv for the first time. Slop happens when both the AI and user lack the discernment to conceptually understanding the artwork being copied.
