I attended the Political Leaders Forum on increasing Women Political Participation and Decision Making at the ICC. I left wondering, where are the women in the development sphere, business and UN agencies? We need them to come and join political parties and compete for seats.

The Chair of the IEC encouraged women to register their own political parties as a step to enhance women's political participation and decision making. Could this be a game changer in the demand for increasing women political representation?

IRI tabled and conducted a training for female National Assembly Members on a theme of, "Building and Strengthening a Network of Leaders to Effectively Advocate for women's Political Participation and Decision Making" First of its nature, bringing former and current NAMs..👏🏾

To get it right in the Nigerian election is either the INEC run the elections based on Geo-political zones every Saturday of an election year or they run the President, Senator, and House of Rep on different weekends. The election processes are complex and need to be simplified.
