It’s such an abusive relationship. I’ve spent the last four months hating the Falcons and myself for being attached to them for life. Then after 7-8 days of them doing good things, I’m all the way back in love.

Great for baseball!

For the millionth time, the blame doesn't fall on the Dodgers for exploiting the rules and making the most of their huge advantages. The blame falls on MLB for allowing those rules and advantages to exist.

In just the past few seasons, MLB has added a DH to the NL, ghost runners in extra innings, pitch clocks and a ball-strike challenge system. All for the betterment of the sport. Don’t tell me they can’t figure out a way to level the payroll playing field.

A reasonable conspiracy theory is that MLB and its owners are actually pushing for the Dodgers to keep doing what they’re doing to boost public support for a salary cap heading into the probable lockout.

I don’t think “but they ALMOST didn’t win back-to-back World Series with their billion-dollar roster” is the strongest argument

Every coaching hire, much like every draft pick, is just guessing and hoping. Anyone acting as if they know definitively how Stefanski will fair (good or bad) is full of it.

“He had a losing record!” Well yeah. Head coaches with great records aren’t usually available to be hired

If your negative opinion about the Falcons hiring Kevin Stefanski includes the words “Shedeur”, “Deion” or “Sanders”, I immediately invalidate it

Another reason why it was good to go ahead and scoop up Stefanski when the Falcons had the chance. I imagine any offensive-minded coach will view Josh Allen and the Bills as Option 1.

I want to make sure I got this right … Stefanski was a bad hire because he didn’t start the son of a former Falcons player (who played 5 seasons in Atlanta, the last one 33 years ago) until Week 12 of his rookie season, even though said son was a fifth-round pick. Yes?

I’ve watched a lot of different sports over many years and no athlete I’ve seen was better at their job than prime Andruw Jones was at center-field defense.
