We should stop thinking MAGA means what Trump has insisted it means. What it should now stand for is MAGA= Mental Acuity Gone Astray.

Curious, isn't it, that so many people want to go to Heaven but so few want to die.

There is an aspect of the Epstein abuse scandal that has received little attention but should be addressed: Where were the parents of these young girls when their daughters were keeping company with men three times their age? What kind of parents would choose not to know?

The media and the chatting class have all glossed over a feature of the Epstein scandal that begs for clarification; What was it that kept these presumably intelligent girls attached to the Epstein lifestyle? Surely they knew they were being exploited. Why didn't they Leave?

One has to wonder where the religious leaders are during this period of global violence and, particularly here in the U.S, this moment of what seems like utter moral chaos. In our name the President and his cabinet secretaries have all but uprooted our signature norms.

If the Democrats wish to recapture control of our government they had better begin to articulate their vision of a post- MAGA America. They have to address the issue of restoration: will they restore those features of the country that Trumpism has destroyed or won't they?
