I had the privilege of serving as the sports doctor for Nigeria’s U-15 national team, a role I cherish to this day. I still remember our incredible trip to Japan for a four nation tournament. Hopefully, someday, I’ll get the chance to serve with the senior national team.

Practicing as a sports doctor in Nigeria would be even more rewarding if our sports ecosystem were better developed. The potential is undeniable we just need the right structures in place.
