In both video views I've seen of the Air India crash, it appears neither flaps nor slats have been extended. The vids aren't clear enough to be certain, but if they weren't, no fully-loaded 787 is going to fly out without them.

I shot a lot of high school football over the past few days, but this hit by Aiden Martinez for Canyon HS Football was one that literally dropped our jaws. I am so glad I got up close to shoot this one. Canyon would go on to defeat Perryton, 29-6.
