Well, by any definition, they aren’t Unionists then! You can’t gaslight an entire community into agreeing with your political agenda. That’s just silly.

Whatever we may think about Naomi Long MLA —or any other public representative—there is never a justification for protests outside a family home.

I’m not a fan of Ian Paisley or Borderland, but his contributions have been solid — strong on the Union, willing to debate, and open to listening. Unionists should be able to debate these issues. The media has created a story around Paisley's contributions where none exists.

UUP leader Mike Nesbitt warns unionists to become more aware of a real threat to the Union: "English nationalism, oh boy, that really scares me. If they think NI's £19bn block grant could be invested in their constituencies, that could develop momentum." belfasttelegraph.co.uk/news/politics/…

From my perspective as a unionist I think we must accept that, at the very least, a border poll is possible. So be prepared for it. Gameplan and strategise. Don’t be caught out as unionism was in 1972, 1979, 1985, 1993, 2019-24 et al. Never assume that anything is impossible

So disgusting. Mass murderers should not have places named after them. Reconciliation? How is this possible? A united Ireland? How is this possible? Stop doing things like this !!!! newsletter.co.uk/news/crime/tro…

Two things can be true at the same time. Bloody Sunday was a tragedy and it was unjustifiable. However, this was a flawed prosecution that was never sustainable; it is a striking example of the flawed & unfair approached to legacy.

Reeves is having a rotten run of bad luck. She inadvertently: misused her Commons credit card, plagiarised in her book, described personal gifts as office equipment, padded her CV, was unfairly investigated by her employer & unknowingly broke a licensing system she had supported.

Does no-one at Unite understand business? FYI, Tesco is a *very large company*, with revenues last year of £69.9bn. *Operating* profits of £3.1bn represent a margin of just 4.5%. Profits after tax were about £1.6bn. Margins at other supermarkets are even lower, typically 3-4%.

As the Executive absurdly blames 'British austerity' for its own failures, new figures reveal the truth: In the 104-year history of NI, Stormont has never had more money - £32 billion - yet still pleads poverty. It's pathetic, and profoundly unserious. belfasttelegraph.co.uk/opinion/column…

The ROI will end up renaming a park that is named after a Jew, but have no problem with a statue of a Nazi collaborator. God help us all.

Ireland was neutral against the Nazis. It saw Hitler’s plans for world domination. Saw his genocide of the Jews. And thought, yeah we’ll sit this one out. Then it offered condolences when Hitler shot himself.

Erasing Herzog Park from the collective consciousness brings to mind George Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-Four, which describes a regime of thought control where “every book has been rewritten, and every statue and street building has been renamed” m.independent.ie/opinion/commen…

Oh dear Lord, Sinn Féin are in no position to comment on crimes against humanity, they literally made human bombs, murdered innocent people, bombed civilians in Manchester, Birmingham & London, & disappeared people. Rank hypocrisy of the highest order!

The death toll from the horrendous Bondi Beach massacre continues to rise. Latest count is an appalling 16 dead. For those who’ve been marching these past few years demanding to ‘globalise the intifada’ this is a barbarous anti-Semitic consequence of their pro-Islamist stupidity.

Most crime goes unreported: this has always been the case. But NHS hospital data on stab victims (or those assaulted by 'sharp object') is a solid indicator - and a relevant trend...

The uprising in Iran has revealed something fundamental about neo-Stalinism: it is terrified of all revolutions (of course) - but a revolution against Islamist theocracy above all ... because a mixture of Gaza and decolonisation theory has firmly cemented into this son-of-Zhdanov
