Dropped by possibility the best stocked stand in the whole of Labour Conference to catch up with the Food and Drink Federation. They've been excellent help for me in Parliament, helping me get to grips with the challenges and opportunities in our food and drink sector.

This is why we need investment in recycling infrastructure, so we can turn packaging back into food-grade packaging. Producers are legally on the hook for boosting recycling from 2025, with a £2 billion bill to boot, so we, and Defra UK, urgently need to turn this around.

We're working hard to help manage food costs for families wherever possible, and doing so hand-in-hand with business to achieve it. Today, I spoke Food and Drink Federation about practical steps to cut red tape and keep costs down to help them pass on savings to their customers.
