Some great journalism here. There are some stories you can do only when you’re totally on the inside, and this is one of them. Congrats on a terrific story, Jourdan.

Pacers in the second round.
Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston about to cook.

I think the ’ decision to exercise Kwity Paye’s fifth-year option is a fairly low-risk, high-reward choice.

If he balls out in 2024, Indy will have him again for cheap in 2025. If he doesn’t, his salary wouldn’t be a big hindrance to other moves. theathletic.com/5426637/2024/0…

The have picked up Kwity’s Paye’s fifth-year option — worth $13.4 million — and he’ll remain under contract through 2025, team says. The 2021 first-round pick will make $4.3 million this year before his raise kicks in next year due to the option. theathletic.com/5426637/2024/0…

For a year, I shadowed LA Rams scouts throughout a process often kept under wraps. From college visits to all-star games, months of internal meetings and debates on prospects, to the inner workings of the NFL draft itself…

Daniel Jones showed up to support his favorite target, Darius Slayton, at the Gridiron Gala.

As for the Giants’ attempted draft night trade for a QB, Jones gave a typically diplomatic answer: “I’m focused on what I can control and that is preparing to play good football. So,…

DC Gus Bradley on Kwity Paye:

'You talk about trust, right? There's a man that you trust. ... I believe, and I think all of our coaches and even this organization, there's another level for him.'

Indy must decide to pay Paye (or not) by tomorrow. theathletic.com/5458925/2024/0…

WR Ashton Dulin, who tore his ACL tear last year, says he doesn't have a timetable for his return, but he's feeling good. Already doing some on field work.

With the draft behind us, the bulk of the ’ offseason roster reconstruction is over.

Let’s take a look at the depth chart to see where the new guys fit in, as well as the pecking order of their more experienced teammates. theathletic.com/5461675/2024/0…

The Giants posted a photo gallery from Phase 2 of the offseason program, which started this week. Workouts now include football drills. Here’s one of the photos of Daniel Jones participating. Barring a setback, don’t see any way he’s not ready for the start of camp.

Dane Brugler released his “way too early” 2025 mock draft, so of course I had to take a look at who he predicted the will pick in the first round. I’d say for now, it tracks. 👀 theathletic.com/5458526/2024/0…

James and I drafted the biggest storylines coming out of the Colts draft. Even though I gave James the first overall pick, experts agree my draft haul was far superior.

Should the pay Kwity Paye?

I explored the pros and cons of picking up his $13.4 million fifth-year option, and I can see a solid argument for both sides.

What would you do if you were GM Chris Ballard? theathletic.com/5458925/2024/0…
