Major new survey from National Education Association gives very strong support for phone-free schools. Any policy that lets kids have phones BETWEEN classes disrupts what happens IN class. Give teachers a chance. Go phone-free. nea.org/resource-libra…

I've been waiting SIX WEEKS for my health insurance to approve oncotype test for my breast tumor. This test determines if I need chemo. BCBS - FEP has repeatedly said they don't have info we sent, forced us to resubmit the request, and won't meet today's deadline to respond.

Computer programs are the most intricate, delicately balanced and finely interwoven of all the products of human industry to date. They are machines with far more moving parts than any engine: the parts don't wear out, but they interact and rub up against one another in ways the

I remember that, it was just at the end of the spring semester at Emporia State Univ. . Some of the trees outside of Morse residence Hall and around campus were broken.

I’m no expert on cows but they are nosy as hell. If ur doin something near a cow they’re gonna come look. If there’s a structure near them, they gotta wander in and see what’s goin on in there. I saw a yard sale set up in a barn and all the cows were inside lookin at the stuff.

Do you know our origin story? In the mid-1960s, calculations revealed that a rare planetary alignment (occurring only every 175 years) would make it possible for a spacecraft to visit all four outer planets, using gravity assists to swing from one planet to the next.

This is very difficult to narrow down, but the piece that always draws me is the Caravaggio, St. John the Baptist in the Wilderness. Touring the Nelson galleries in KC to study eras, styles, and techniques for my high school classes was so enlightening. Thank you Sumner Academy
