Love working with Beth Fisher and Charlotte Steele Little River ES! After listening to a book,these Ss collaborated to retell the story creating a sequence of picture cards, then coded the BlueBots to go to each picture on the mat. Loudoun County Computer Science Office

LCPS News: Teachers from Aldie Elementary, Newton-Lee Elementary & Farmwell Station MS visited the Amazon Web Services Think Big Space JL Simpson MS yesterday to work with our Instructional Facilitators of Computer Science & learn new ways to integrate CS tools and programs into core SOLs.

LCPS News: This afternoon in the Amazon Web Services Think Big Space, 8th graders taking the Computer Science Foundation course with Ms. Amber Lloyd JL Simpson MS showcased the AI Chatbots they created with the help of Nivaro to members of the surrounding community.

Sometimes, the best way to learn is to invite the students to teach the teacher. For our PD time this morning, Ss from JL Simpson MS came to the Think Big Space to walk the IFCSs through a garden challenge in Minecraft Education to "build" a deeper understanding of the program.
