Mushrooms are finally appearing, some several months later than usual and drained of their usual color. For example, the gills of the yellow-topped Stropharia amigua (the two “darkest” ones here) sport a mere blush of their usual deep lavender-grey color this year. So interesting

Hola desde el mar de Cortes! We’ve driven south to take a break from home/studio construction. Such a different ecosystem, and so dry in comparison! Instead of mushrooms and moss I have sand and shells to play with.
