I have to believe those sharpshooters looking out for the “betterment of the sport” explored a MENA deal (i.e. Abu Dhabi) but there’s a lot more to it than funding; someone has to do the work. In the end, when evaluating the options to branch out, it was obviously easier to sue.

“MBS” had it locked no matter, but a good reminder that @FIA roads can be dark, slippery and perilous. Sort of like black/clear ice you can’t see but know it’s there, lurking, waiting to bust your ass. The FIA's grip needs real testing to ensure its roads are at least passable.

This is the only time I ever saw Greg pour cold water on anything. And as with everything in life, he did it with purpose and a smile. He was instantly likable and a giver at heart with a keen awareness of the big picture. One of the good guys. Prayers to all of the families.
