Dear politicians/political influencers: When you tweet about my father’s birthday, remember that he was resolute about eradicating racism, poverty & militarism. Encourage & enact policies that reflect your birthday sentiments. Here’s the authentic #MLK:

Stop sharing the MLK quote about choosing love vs. hate as a way to validate your inaction. He was about that action! He called us to MOVE, with love.

We only want to follow Christ when we like where He’s going...as if God is only good when life is. Maybe why we Christians today don’t have a lot of muscle, because we refuse to lift the heavy weights of life.🙏🏾

How is it possible for a Black Man to call a Black Woman, a stranger, “Queen” while treating the ones closest to them like trash? Then have the audacity to scream “Protect Black Women”. Wild. #BLM #BlackHistoryMonth  #BlackLivesMatter
