I always feel bad getting frustrated w students who just want to do well but there is only so much not listening to the directions I can handle. It is almost April & I have a S who won’t listen or ask questions & does their own thing. I cannot help you if you won’t help yourself.

Funny the things someone is worried about their 8 year old being exposed to when I’ve heard the music their child sings and dances to… but understanding gender identity is the problem. Got it.

In the year of our lord 2024, it’s absolutely unacceptable for a company of any kind, especially a hospital, to not have online payments for all bills. Some of have to work during business hours & cannot call to make the “easy, one-time payment”. That is not easy nor convenience.

This is the hardest part about co-parenting. Then supporting the children through it… occasionally things turn ugly or you can tell the other person doesn’t like your kid. You have to be strong for your child & not put them in the middle of grown folks’ business. It’s not fun.

During summer school, my Ss were reading Holes by Louis Sachar. My middle school Ss were invested & engaged. I even had 1 admit they have never read an entire book, ask if there was a sequel. I showed them Small Steps, Armpit's story. They are now reading that novel. #teacherwin
