1. Catches a bird in mist net... it bounces out .... 2. Catches another bird in net 15 min later... already radio-collared ...... 3. Turns out the already radioed bird is one we've been missing for weeks 🎉 good morning on the Prairie

23 anxiety-filled days later...she's a mom of 11! I can't get over how small and clumsy these little chicks are... it's no wonder bareground is such an important component of bobwhite habitat! 🐣🔥
