With Clinton Global Initiative, we held a ‘Deeper Dive’ event exploring how #AdaraNewborn is halving newborn deaths & stillbirths across #Uganda. In our Clinton Global Initiative session, Peter Waiswa highlighted the urgent need to double down on #maternal & #newborn care in #Uganda to meet the #SDGS & save lives. “For newborns, Uganda has made progress. But still there is much to be done.” #AdaraNewborn is part of the solution.

At our Clinton Global Initiative "deeper dive" event, Bonita Birungi shared why ELMA Philanthropies is investing in #newborn health in #Uganda, plus why they’re an #AdaraNewborn cornerstone investor. “[We] invest catalytically and strategically to ensure we are identifying models that work.”

Why is investment into #maternal & #newbornhealth so critical in Uganda?
