Oh to be famous enough for multiple editors to let me publish a sentence this bad and then have it praised by other famous reporters

Calling all journalists! NPR has decided not to offer summer internships. There may be others that do the same. Students need this experience. Please post paid journalism #internships you may know about on this thread. Thank you. Plz RT #JournalismInternships #SummerInterns

Imagine crossing the border into the US for better opportunities for your children etc and then your Mexican child misspells quesadilla in an auditorium filled of people 😔✋🏼

I build in lessons in self-care into my curriculum. Too many reporters burn out and were never taught how to disengage from their work enough to take a breather. We need a generation of reporters that know when to stop the brakes.

Peak journalism is working in a McDonald's and you can't tell me different. There are various reasons for which journalists end up needing to work at a McDonald's and they're all valid and urgent. Yes, I'm currently working at said establishment because of wind-induced issues.

It's that time of year: If you're a student journalist I would like to personally tell you that you're doing great. Don't worry about everyone else's jobs or internships or post-grad plans. Hype them up with grace, and then remember you're doing great. It's going to be OK.

I often tell students about the scam that was Metpro. I was hired on a barely livable wage and when I was lucky enough to get hired as a staff reporter, I got a raise of wait for it….25 cents.
