Feeling incredibly grateful to have had my first covid19 vax yesterday. Thanks to all the staff and especially the nurses seeing hundreds of people each day. 🙏🏻 I did it to protect myself, my family & friends, but also my community, esp those who are vulnerable. #covid19

Thank you Victoria. What an amazing number of tests and vaccinations in one day. And a special thank you to the people showing up every day to staff our testing and vaccination hubs.

2) Many may see the plight of the Murugappan family as an isolated case, but I look at it as an embodiment of the multidimensional nature of Australia’s detention system. In fact, the story of this family is a symbol of the thousands of lives shattered by this system.

As a Victorian you don’t realise just how much of an impact the last 18 months has had until you go to the land that COVID forgot (qld) & feel freaked out by crowds, lack of social distancing, no masks, very few QR codes & fewer people checking in. #DontStandSoCloseToMe #Covid19

No of Aussies killed by terrorism in Australia since 1916 18 Number of Aussie women killed by male violence since 2014 491 So I ask you what’s the biggest threat? If you’re tired of me tweeting about this imagine being a woman living with actual threat of this everyday.

End of an era! 😞 Fran Kelly you have been my commuting companion and also my sanity saver when home on parental leave with 3 x small children. I will miss your voice, your humour, and your probing questions. Thank you and look forward to the next phase!

The abominable, hate-filled act of publishing the phone number or address of a woman in the public eye should be condemned by every politician in the land. It is an act of violence, going to the heart of a woman’s right to privacy, security & safety. Appalling, ugly behaviour

Dear media, while you are reporting on #Djokovic being detained at the Park Hotel Prison can you please also mention the 33 refugee men that have been detained for 9 years now, that are also there. Half of who got COVID there. Men who were served maggots in their dinner last week
