Shocked & disappointed to hear a team describe SALT students with reasonable adjustments for ND / disability as “delicate”. Long way to go to address ableism, stigma & marginalization in a profession that is so good at advocating for it's clients.

1/4 Oracy. Beware what is billed as care, therapy, progress. Think who ultimately benefits. If the 'treatment' is manufactured by the 'assessor', would that be allowed in other industries? Ask why in health/education is this monopoly allowed, & is this really about care?
