In a nutshell, hermeneutical injustice. We are excluded from narratives about us & the dominance of these narratives which lack the richness of our internal world, epistemically disable people from fully seeing us as human. Here's how the effects of this can show up in psychology

Inclusion. Disability rights. Equity. Such a long way to go.

Children are master adapters, hard wired to conform and fit in order to survive. However this often comes at a cost to themselves with research showing the long shadow cast well into adulthood.
