Mayor Brandon Johnson 2/ No elected accountability for the new regional board. Presently the buck to the CTA stops w/ Mayor Brandon Johnson & he can be held directly responsible by voters. The new structure disperses responsibility among 8 offices, in effect making it accountable to no one.

It is stunning that as the CTA continues to flail into new crises, a vote is moving forward to appoint a new CTA board member without relevant transit experience *and* without any news coverage or announcements from the admin.
