Kljestan is great, no doubt, but #RBNY robbed Orlando City of two young, promising players in Redding and Rivas. Addresses two future positional Q's too. Redding has looked great and maybe Marsch unlocks the promise Rivas teases.

Think the Kljestan trade makes sense for both teams. Orlando still searching for first playoff berth. Kljestan a proven playmaker who produces consistently. Knock on him is he hasn't delivered in the playoffs. OCSC trying to GET to the playoffs. Kljestan can help that.

Red Bulls replacing Kljestan (32) w/younger, potentially more dynamic option who, as young DP, saves them about 300K against cap in the swap, which can help fund defensive upgrades. Also, Kaku is 22, if he blossoms, could generate transfer $$. Has to deliver though (unlike Veron)
