During the Iraq war/GWOT, the U.S. attacked Al Jazeera relentlessly, bombed its facilities, killed its Baghdad correspondent and locked a cameraman in Guantanamo. Israel has repeated this pattern. All journalists must condemn these violent assaults on freedom of the press.
